Departing!!

What's up America!!!
So this is my first official time blogging in Rome. I am currently seating on the balcony of my hotel looking out and taking in all that Rome has to offer. But me along with all my fellow ambassadors are very tired and I can tell you exactly why. The day started with all of us meeting @ Upper Dublin High school and after some emotional goodbyes we all boarded the bus to go to Philadelphia International Airport. Upon arrival we went through the long lines of baggage check and security. After that we had about two hours to spend in the terminal before boarding time. So after walking around for awhile we all began to crowd in our terminal. As we sat there myself and two other ambassadors Jackie Hotte and Haleigh Stapelton noticed a priest walking around with a gigantic cross on his neck. Would you believe it was the Archbishop of Philadelphia on our plane!!!!! And the sad thing was it took us a half hour to figure it out HAHA. Then it was time to board but my boarding did not go as smooth as I would have liked because as i boarded i dropped my baggage ticket and it flex through the gangway and all the way down outside the plane. Just my luck LOL. But luckily a flight attendant obtained it for me and decided to announce to the whole plane the Matthew Greco we found the ticket you dropped, well I think almost the whole plane was cracking up, even the archbishop. The flight was long and exhausting but it payed off at 8:20 Roman time when we finally stepped foot on Italian soil. Thats all I have for you all back at home hope you enjoyed. Pe@ce out
